Pelouse was asked by the Société de Développement du Boulevard Saint-Laurent  (SDBSL) to design an above-grounds planter arrangement for the sidewalks of the commercial street. The planters are made of two identical bended steel sheets and two plastic containers assembled around a tree trunk.

The original purpose of the planter is to protect the smaller trees of the boulevard - less than 10’’ diameter- and to add vegetation without crowding the sidewalks. The first 30 planters were installed on the Main’s sidewalks between Sherbrooke ant Mont-Royal as part of the 2016th Spring cleaning.
