Benches and islands

As part of the revitalization plan for St-Denis Street, Pelouse developed a collection of furniture revealing the unique character of the iconic Montreal artery's public spaces.

The collection's first phase includes a bench and an island made of ash wood from the Mauricie region. The following phases will be designed using wood from trees cut for preventive reasons across Montreal's boroughs. Turning to timelessness as a way to celebrate the street's strategic rebirth, the design achieves balance through the calculated play on proportions and the choice of materials.
